Hi, I’m Jenna Schroeder. After running in the 2024 local election, I heard the same thing over and over: “There should be a website where you can look up every candidate.” People were frustrated with the lack of easily accessible information on who was running for office and what they stood for.

So here it is: Gold Coast Votes.

We’re a group of passionate community members who believe that democracy works best when voters are informed. Too often, people feel disengaged and disillusioned with politics, and that leads to voting without all the facts. Our goal is to change that by providing a simple, non-partisan platform where voters can learn about their candidates, and how they’d vote on key issues.
